Teach and guide newly launched undergraduate Bachelor of Music – Church Music degree program. Teach also in the area of music theory and/or an applied area of concentration.
The ideal candidate will be an evangelical Christian and an accomplished Church musician with a completed doctorate who shows potential to recruit students and provide visionary leadership in Church Music education in various church traditions for the 21st century church musician.
RANK: Assistant or Associate Professor; Tenure-Track Lee University is a Christian liberal arts institution with approximately 4,100 students.
The School of Music, an accredited member of NASM, serves some 250 music majors and offers the following degrees in music: BMEd; BM Performance; BM Church Music; BA in Music-Applied Emphasis; BA in Music-Church Music Emphasis; BS in Music-Music Business Emphasis; MM-Performance; MM-Music Education and the Master of Church Music.
