We are accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in music to direct the concert band, teach applied brass or woodwind instruments, teach music education classes, and recruit instrumental music majors.
A doctorate, performance experience, and college/public school teaching experiences are preferred. The ideal candidate would be an experienced band director, an artist teacher/performer, and an exceptional student recruiter who contributes significantly to the spiritual, artistic, and intellectual life of the department and the college.
The Department of Music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. Applications will be accepted until January 15, 2009 or until the position is filled.
