New Venture Christian Fellowship has an exciting opportunity for a Worship Pastor or Worship Director to join our pastoral staff and talented team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years experience in leading and administering a music ministry with a proven track record of successful development. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing music team planning, recruitment, rehearsals and worship at regularly scheduled services and special events. This person must be an effective communicator and be able to handle multiple priorities successfully while meeting deadlines.
New Venture Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational church located in the community of Oceanside, North San Diego County. REQUIREMENTS
• Commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
• Theological or Bachelors degree required (with preferred studies in Music).
• Minimum five years leadership experience in music ministry or related field.
• Preference given to candidates with large church related experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Team player with leadership and teaching skills.
• Flexible work schedule, willing to work extended hours to complete assigned tasks/projects as needed and scheduled.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with attention to detail.
• Passionate celebration and ownership of the vision, mission, values and purposes of New Venture Christian Fellowship.
• High level of spiritual maturity.
• All candidates must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States.
